She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Northwestern University.
Julia worked as a hospitalist at Northwestern Memorial/Shirley Ryan Ability Lab for several years before joining Cermak Medical Group in 2024. At Cermak Medical Group, Julia applies her knowledge of internal medicine, wound care, pain medicine, and psychology to treat patients holistically.
Julia is an empathetic listener who is passionate about getting individuals back to doing the things that give them joy as quickly as possible.
Outside of her time at Cermak Immediate Care, Julia enjoys gardening, composting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with loved ones, including her cat, Zoe.

We treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries including flu, COVID-19, strep throat, ear infections, UTIs, sore throat, lacerations, sprains and strains, minor burns, work injuries, and rashes. We also offer primary care, STD testing, physicals, women's health, and management of chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome at both Cermak Immediate Care locations — Cicero and Chicago, Illinois — seven days a week. The Cicero clinic is open 7 AM to 12 AM, and the Chicago clinic is open 8 AM to 9 PM. No appointment is required, though you can book online or call ahead to reduce your wait time.
